Following are excerpts from some of the emails we have received following the reunion weekend.  We hope you enjoy reading them.

-
I had such a great time & made some new old friends.

- I am truly sad about all my classmates who chose not to attend.  This really was a once in a lifetime experienceI was so happy to meet up again with (old friends.)   I am hoping that I have reconnected with them for the rest of my life.  It is strange, but when you (re)meet these people, as different as they all are from one another, you remember what it was that you liked so much about each one of them (years ago) that made you want to be their friends.  We have all moved out of the Bronx, we have had successful lives, our professions have been different, and yet I felt that we really haven't changed - We are all still connected in the same way that we were when we were in our teens.  I found that so nice and very interesting.

-a memorable  experience, which I will cherish for the rest of my life.

-The many memories of this wonderful celebration will linger forever... and "forever is a long, long time." One of the most joyous results of this reunion are the new -old - (meant in the best sense of the word)  friends who have reentered my life.

-
I haven’t stopped talking about it and how much fun we all had. Even without knowing many of the people who attended while at Taft, I found it totally amazing how much that really didn’t matter.  It was growing up with a common background that made it such a pleasure to exchange thoughts and memories with everyone.

-
The Reunion was marvelous; I will always remember it.

-It was certainly a "love fest!"

-It was a wonderful three days-in which I connected with people I haven't seen for a long time and met some new ones.   It was an experience which left me high for days afterward.

-I had a wonderful time and have great memories.

-
there are not enough words, so amazing was our sat.eve.,and sunday brunch.  seeing everyone and still caring, how does that happen after all those years? the fuzzy feeling was in the air.  growing up in our neighborhood and going to our schools must have played a bigger
part in our lives than we ever realized. not to mention the family and teachers that really cared about us.

-I had a great time and it was beyond my wildest expectations. Reconnecting with friends, making new acquaintances with whom I shared a common time in my life, waxing nostalgia and renewing perspective was both cathartic and a blast.

-I loved the weekend! Although we cannot relive the past reviving old dear friendships and revisiting Happy Times in the flesh was a joyous experience.

-It was so much more than I expected.  Seeing old friends and classmates was a beautiful step into the past.  This (was) a very memorable weekend that I won't forget.

-a memorable occasion

-the reunion was something else!!!!

-Everyone had a great time. I had the chance to see 4 friends that I have not seen for many years

-THE REUNION TO ME CAN (ONLY) BE DESCRIBED IN SUPERLATIVES. THERE ARE MANY MANY THINGS THAT I THINK I WILL NEVER FORGET. IF YOU HAD HALF AS GOOD A TIME AS I HAD, THEN YOU HAD A WONDERFUL TIME.

- Although I was not an active part of any "group"while in school, I enjoyed reconnecting with several old(just joking) acquaintances. Saturday was lots of fun...the music, the camaraderie was great...a time that will not soon be forgotten.

-My wife and I and all of our friends had a great time at the Friars Club seeing all of the people that we grew up with and had not seen for a lot of years.

-
I know it was a stunning event for me and it was so uplifting seeing everyone all over again.  I would encourage anyone to go to their  50th reunion.

-It is only hours since our reunion weekend ended but I am still on a high. I cannot find the right words to express my feelings of renewal, happiness, joy and anticipation as a result of seeing lost friends and reuniting with them.

-It was a wonderful weekend. I really did not want to go but I am so happy I did.

-A very wonderful trip back to the past lots of emotion, nostalgia, and warmth a great feeling of coming together.

-The group was so ebullient, so charged up that the room did not seem to be large enough to contain them at times. Taft had a lot of great dancers and they did show their stuff on the dance floor. There were great conversations with people I hadn't spoken to in 50+ years .
